Fun and excitement are in for an adventure into outer space. After all, world governments are active in the promotion of their respective programs for the race in space explorations. However, space explorers and the companies or government they represent should consider the hazard of space travelers melting when accelerated into deep space as theorized by the Unruh Effect.

The Unruh Effect is a theory anticipating that a space traveler is bathed in blackbody radiation when exposed to extreme speed while a steady observer has no exposure to this type of radiation. A blackbody is an opaque object that emits heat and absorbs all sorts of energy at all electromagnetic wavelengths. The energy emitted by the blackbody is called blackbody radiation which is a space traveler's risk of melting when accelerating into deeper space, as reported in Physics.Org.

The Unruh effect was predicted forty years ago. Space travelers risk of melting when accelerating into deeper space when exposed to relativistic space treks was considered. The "Unruh Effect" is named after its theorist Canadian Physicist Bill Unruh, as reported by Universe Today.

The thermal radiation emitted by the blackbody or commonly known as the thermal bath is made up of photons and other particles like protons and electrons. The thermal bathings intensify as the speed is accelerated. But this effects still remains a theory as no spacecraft in operation could reach this level of speed. The space travelers risk of melting remains real as it gets, according to a research team led by Gabriella Cozzella of the Institute of Theoretical Physics (IFT) of Sao Paolo State University, Brazil.

The studies are now in motion to prove the Unruh effects theory. The proof of these effects shall change the understanding of deep space travel and the tendencies to melt space trekkers is true or not. By the proof it will provide, space travel can adapt to technologies from melting our space travelers, states Cozzella.
