Xplore’s dynamic XSlate R12 is reported to receive high reviews from its consumers along with high results in water, dust, shock tests. The tablet that runs on Windows 10 Pro is also stated to enable users to use the tablet outside the home and work with total ease and no worries.
According to Channel Life, Xplore’s XSlate R12 tablet received high ratings from several tests. The 12.5-inch display tablet with an FHD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, or 176ppi. The tablet sports a 7th-generation Intel Core i7-7500U along with 8GB of RAM paired with 512GB. The tablet also has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.
Regarding the physical appearance of Xplore’s XSlate R12, it was shown to have the dimensions of 328.5mm wide by 207.5mm deep by 19mm thick, and a weight of 1.34kg. The resilient tablet also has an 800-nit brightness which was mentioned to enable users to use it in all lighting conditions even outside home and work.
With that said, Xplore’s XSlate R12 mentioned being protected by a sturdy Gorilla Glass 4 which makes it harder to break amid four-foot drops. The stylus of the dynamic tablet could be seen attached to it by a cord so it wouldn’t get lost. While another optional accessory of the tablet is its Companion Keyboard which is attached to the tablet via magnets per ZDNet.
The Xplore’s durable XSlate R12 tablet has also received an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance and C1D2-compliant rated to be used in hazardous locations was obtained as well. It was noted that the rubber along the sides of the tablet aids users to grip tightly to the tablet and make it withstand any shock if ever it would fall.
The might Xplore XSlate R12 tablet’s Intel Core i7 vPro version is available for the price of $3299. Meanwhile, its Celeron-powered model was estimated to be around $2299.
