Despite the OnePlus Company not releasing any information about the device, a recent leak that shows the smartphone’s specs and the price have been rampant on the web. According to Gadgets 360, the OppoMart site has been identified to be the retail store that showed the device’s leaked specs. The OnePlus 5 was said to have a dynamic 5.5-inch quad-HD (1440x2560 pixels) display. Along with that, the device was shown to be powered by a 2.45GHz of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 quad-core processor which is found on the Samsung Galaxy S8. In which, was mentioned to be paired with an Adreno 540 GPU and 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. With that said, the OnePlus 5 listed on the site offers 64GB or 128GB of internal storage as well. Aside from that, the awaited stunning camera specs of the expected Samsung Galaxy S8’s rival was cited to be a 12-megapixel resolution with a dual-camera setup (standard RGB + monochrome) feature along with an 8-megapixel sensor front camera. The OnePlus 5’s OS was also identified to be the company’s own Oxygen OS base on the latest Android N. Yet, the battery power of the handset wasn’t stated, just that it would have a Dash Charge 2.0 feature. Moreover, it was also reported by GSM Arena that company’s official Weibo account have posted an image teasing about an upcoming smartphone which is being worked on by workers. The image was reblogged by the company’s CEO Pete Lau as well. However, no confirmation have been made by OnePlus whether the leaked specs and details belong to their 2017 flagship device. Regarding the price, it was listed on the site that the OnePlus 5 would cost about $449 (roughly Rs. 28,800). The OppoMart site has now listed the OnePlus 5 to be “out of stock” and has noted that shipping would start in June 2017.
