The aluminum body made Huawei Y7 Prime smartphone was described to be quite similar to China’s Enjoy 7 Plus but packs a different set of specs and features. According to Android Headlines, the Huawei Y7 Prime sports a 5.5 inched IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi (1280x720p resolution). The smartphone is also mentioned to have a 2.5D curved glass coating on top of the display. The color options for the device were said to be Streamer Gold, Silver and Gray. With that said, the Huawei Y7 prime is also mentioned to be powered with Qualcomm’s 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset (8 Corex-A53 processors) paired with an Adreno 505 graphic chipset. The device is said to run the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system along with the company’s EMUI 5.1 custom UI skin. Aside from that, the Huawei Y7 Prime features 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card for huge storage users. Speaking of camera features, the handset was also identified to display a 12-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and LED flash (f/2.2, 1.25µm pixels) and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor in its front screen as reported by Phone Radar. Other features of the Huawei Y7 Prime were mentioned to be connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and a micro USB 2.0 port. The device is also described to have a Dual SIM support and the usual 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Huawei Y7 Prime key feature was identified to be its non-removable Li-Ion 4,000mAh battery which is capable to juice the smartphone for long usage. Nonetheless, the Huawei Y7 Prime is currently selling in Hong Kong for HK$1880 roughly Rs. 15,500 while it costs for around $240 or an estimated price of €215 in China. No announcements have yet been made regarding the handset's availability in other Asian countries.
