However, the details regarding upcoming smartphone are scarce; a recent appearance on the benchmarking site Geekbench reveals latest specifications about the imminent flagship. LG V30 is spotted on Geekbench with the number LGE LG-H932PR. This device is said to be LG V30 because of the Snapdragon 835 SoC listed as powering the smartphone. However, the LG Q6 is out of the picture because that phone is powered by the Snapdragon 435 chipset. The latter is also seen equipped with an octa-core 1.9GHz CPU.. LG V30 has Android 7.1.2 pre-installed, according to benchmark listing. It's currently only running the latest public Android build available, version 7.1.2 Nougat, but it's a version that few if any third-party OEMs have adopted. Meanwhile, other Chinese smartphones are injecting 6GB or more of RAM into their flagships like the Xiaomi Mi 6 and the OnePlus 5, as reported by GSM Arena. On Geekbench app, the LG V30 scored 1899 and 6350 on the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. Last year's LG V20 had a 1554 single-core tally, and a 3626 multi-core result. The LG V30 is expected to release on August 31st in Berlin, which is the day before the annual IFA trade show opens. According to previous rumors, the LG V30 is said to boast a 5.7-inch OLED display with the FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio. The device will have 64GB of native storage. On the optic side, a dual camera setup is probable, which contains a pair of 13MP sensors and the whole shebang is running on a 3200mAh battery.However, there were also reports that LG V30 will not have the secondary display this year, but there is an IP68 certification rating will be there in the flagship. However, there's not much more than a month left for LG to announce the V30.
