Motorola is all set to unveil the Moto Z2 Force on July 25 at an unknown event in New York City. With a few more days left for the launch of the flagship smartphone, fresh details regarding the device have surfaced online.

The Venture Beat seems to have revealed the marketing material of the upcoming Moto Z2 Force flagship device. The promotional material has revealed that the flagship might boast major improvements on the photography and chipset part. Also, it will have small battery than its predecessor.

The Moto Z2 Force will boast two 12-megapixel cameras rather than a single 21-megapixel camera like its predecessor and the front-facing camera will be of 5-megapixels. The US version of Z2 Force will feature 4GB of RAM as compared to 6GB RAM for another variant, as reported by Engadget.

While the Chinese Moto Z2 Force receives 128GB of onboard storage, however, everybody else gets 64GB. Each variant will have a microSD slot that supports cards with up to 2TB of storage.  The Moto Z2 Force is likely to come featuring a 5.5-inch QHD 1440p display with the ShatterShield technology. A water-repellent nanocoating technology is also said to be there on the phone. The device will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

The Moto Z2 Force is expected to be thinner than its predecessor. Unfortunately, Motorola looks to have reduced the battery capacity as well - a 2,730 mAh battery on the Z2 Force will be there as compared to the original's 3,500 mAh power pack.

Moto Z2 Force will be coming in Super Black, Fine Gold or, for T-Mobile customers only, Lunar Grey color variants. However, it is still unclear on when the device will be released, but it's highly possible that the device will be launch on the July 25th.
