However, now it looks like that the Samsung is planning to add a dual-camera setup on the Chinese variant of the Galaxy J7 (2017). This news is confirmed by the newly leaked images.
The leaked photos were collected by SlashLeaks, which reveals the front and back sides of the Galaxy J7 (2017). On the back side, a vertically-aligned dual-camera setup is clearly visible. The smartphone looks to sport a metal unibody, with antenna lines running across top and bottom of the Galaxy J7 (2017). The front of the device suggests Always-On display.
The home button, which is said to have a fingerprint sensor in it, is flanked by the recent menu and back buttons at the base. At the top, there is a front-facing camera along with an earpiece and LED flash. The left side of the Galaxy J7 (2017) boasts volume controls, while right features power on/off button, as reported by GSM Arena.
The standard version of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) features a 5.5-inch full HD (1280x1920 pixel) Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. The device boasts 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and is backed by a 3,600 mAh battery.
On the camera front, original Galaxy J7 2017 has the same 13-megapixel rear and front camera. It has connectivity features like dual sim slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
The regular version of the smartphone has recently been launched in South Korea too with a price tag of KRW 396,000 (around $353. The device in the home country is available for purchase via the carrier, KT Corp.
