As there are still rumors being rampant that Apple’s iPhone 8 release will be delayed due to some circumstances, a report was recently obtained from JP. Morgan analysts about the flagship’s release date and price. The analysts identified that they are lowering their production predictions this upcoming release of the iPhone 8.
According to Know Your Mobile, JP Morgan claimed that the iPhone 8 will start shipping this coming September. However, JP. Morgan analyst Rod Hall stated that the stocks will only be offered in limited quantities. Yet, the company mentioned that the device production will be increased sometime in October in order to satisfy the consumer demand.
"We do not believe that Apple’s production schedule is changing materially with most current delay reports simply dated reverberations of decisions Apple made back in the spring. We expect a small amount of late September EMS output for the Pro model and then ramping production through October with target output levels achieved in late October/early November," as the JP Morgan analysts explained.
The prediction of JP Morgan noted that they are reducing their forecasted FQ4 Apple iPhone 8 release of 49.5 million units down to 42.2 million units. Their shipment estimates were also mentioned to be lowered from 262.9 million to only 270.2 million instead. The company was also revealed to refer the iPhone 8 as the “iPhone Pro,” 9to5 Mac reported.
Speaking of specs, Apple’s iPhone 8 is revealed to sport a nearly bezel-less OLED screen. The flagship is also identified to be powered by the Cupertino-based company’s latest A11 chipset processor and could be equipped with a full Wireless charging technology. The camera feature is also seen to be changed to a vertically aligned dual camera sensor contrary to the previous camera designs of the iPhone line.
Of course, Apple’s iPhone 8 is also expected to feature a 3D face scanning technology along with the usual Touch ID fingerprint scanner for security and Apple Pay authorization purposes. The smartphone is also expected to ramp up their AR game integration to the device. Nonetheless, Apple’s iPhone 8 is now forecasted to be the company’s most expensive iPhone ever released up to date. The flagship is said to cost around $1,100/£1000.
