However, it now looks that it's not wasting any time down under in terms of flagship's availability. According to a Samsung's official document, the Galaxy Note 8 will reach Australia soon after the US/EU reveal on August 25.
It looks like Australia will be among the lucky first adopters, with documents cited by Ausdroid suggesting that the pre-order process may start as early as the August 25. The official Samsung document also says that there will be a "Screen Assure Offer", the buyer will get one free screen substitute in the first 12 months after buying the Galaxy Note 8. This deal kicks off on Friday, August 25, which makes it the said emergence of the pre-order campaign.
On the other hand, according to NDTV, Galaxy Note 8 will feature pack 6GB of RAM, a new leak makes mention of a Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition. Now the name means to indicate that the smartphone will boast a whopping 8GB of RAM along with 256GB of onboard storage, with a small possibility of a Star Wars reference attached as well.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will boast a horizontal dual rear camera setup with two 12-megapixel sensors and independent OIS (optical image stabilization) for each lens. The device will have a fingerprint sensor next to the camera, which is one of the biggest disappointments to the fans, as mentioned by several reports and reviews. Based on previous leaks, the Galaxy Note 8 is said to feature a 3300mAh battery.
Samsung typically offers pre-orders on a roughly fortnightly basis that would suggest an actual on sale date for the Galaxy Note 8 of September 8 or around there. More concrete details on Note will be known at the time of launch.
