An important meeting took place on Sunday between Iran and Spain. Both the countries have agreed to expand their cooperation in various important fields.
The Spanish Senate President Pio Garcia-Escudero expressed his pleasure after attending the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's inauguration, Iran Front Page reported. The Spanish Senate President also interacted with the Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in an important meeting in Teheran. The Spanish Parliamentarian highlighted the relation between Spain and Iran. He also revealed that Madrid is eager to expand the cooperation with this Islamic Republic in several fields.
Pio Garcia-Escudero reported that the JCPOA or the Joint Comprehensive of Action explored many opportunities to enhance the commercial and trade exchanges. He uttered that the positive outcomes are clearly visible in the economic relations between Spain and Iran. On the other hand, President Rouhani also said about the friendly ties between the two countries.
President Rouhani highlighted the important role of the European Unions' in implementing Iran's nuclear deal successfully. He even stressed on the effective measures by the EU in protecting this important deal. Rouhani asked Spain to use the best opportunities in various important fields of energy, tourism, transportation, MEHR News Agency reported. He even told Spain to use the opportunities to proceed with the investment.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, pointed to the artistic and the cultural relation while interacting with the President of the Senate of Spain. Zarif stressed on the enhancement of the bilateral ties with the cooperation in the said fields. The Iranian Foreign Minister mentioned the country's geographical location, good human resources, cheap price of energy. According to Zarif, peace and the stability in Iran are two great features.
He uttered that these two features with all the said factors have made the proper ground for the investment of the foreign firms. President of The Spanish Senate delivered the message of the Spanish King that includes the King's Congratulations over the re-election of the President Rouhani. Spain and Iran both the nations stressed on the promotion of the economic cooperation, and removal of the barriers in maintaining this collaboration.
