HMD Global uncovered the Android Nokia handset, Nokia 8, on Wednesday. The smartphone will be available in Europe from September with a price of 599 euros that is $700.

HMD Global acquired the feature phone business of Nokia in 2016, and this year the company unveiled the Android handset. The Nokia 8 will be available in Europe from next month though no words yet surfaced about its release in the U.S., according to BGR. Several leaks and rumors surfaced before the official unveiling of the Nokia 8 handset, and they already indicated some features of the device.

The new Nokia 8 has the 5.3-inch display with visible bezels, though LG and Samsung eliminated display bezels in their new handsets. The display of this new Nokia handset must be Quad HD. The smartphone features 64GB of the internal storage and 4GB of RAM. The phone supports the microSD card slot.

The new Nokia 8 also features the home button that supports the fingerprint scanning. The company has not tried to become a part of the design competition with the LG V30 or the Samsung Galaxy S8. The important fact is HMD has tried to equip the Nokia 8 handset with the intriguing hardware.

The latest Nokia phone contains Zeiss lenses both for the back and the front cameras, and interestingly both of them are the 13-megapixel sensors. The dual-camera feature is visible on the back panel of the Nokia 8. The phone packs a battery of 3090mAh. The Nokia 8 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

Reports say HMD is planning to release the Nokia 8 with four color options. The options are glossy blue, matte blue, copper and gray. According to EXPRESS, the Nokia 8 is splash resistant only and not a waterproof handset. HMD Global also utters that the Nokia 8 must be a non-Google handset to get the Android O.

HMD has not interfered with the essential camera software and only added the "Bothie" mode. The "Bothie" mode helps the rear and the front cameras to capture the videos and photos at the same time. The Finnish company also implemented a significant feature, Ozo Audio, in the new Nokia 8. This feature must help the users to capture the 360-degree audio at the time of recording videos.
