Former Baseball Player Supports SpaceX Founder In Making Mars Habitable

Ex-MVP baseball star Jose Canseco took to Twitter to express his opinion and directly states that he supports Elon Musk on his ideas on making Mars a habitable planet next to Earth, comparing Musk's and his "great minds." The unconventional idea started when Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, made a suggestion on bombing Mars with thermonuclear explosives on its polar ice caps to create a rise in the temperature similar to climate change.

"The fast way is to drop thermonuclear weapons over the poles," Musk said. He is very much convinced on the idea of colonizing Mars and transporting people through space via SpaceX rockets, after making the Red Planet habitable, complete with bodies of water and an atmosphere.

Musk gave his suggestions on air during an interview on "The Late Night with Stephen Colbert." In the light of this conversation, the Major League Baseball star Mr. Canseco also expressed his thoughts on the matter based on the calculations he said he made.

"By my calculations if we nuked the polar ice caps on Mars we would make an ocean of 36 feet deep across the whole planet." Even though it was not clear what calculations he made to come up with these conclusions, he added that colliding Saturn's moon Triton with Mars would jumpstart a magnetic field in the planet, which would supposedly liquidate the planet's outer core into molten iron.

However, a lot had taken note that Mr. Canseco seemed to have missed some important facts such as Triton is one of Neptune's moons, not Saturn's. While Mr. Canseco's statements are not sure to be made with serious tone, his tweets seemed to be filled with humor as he posted rather entertaining yet serious statements such as announcing his first invention and filing his first patent, among other things, thus giving people doubts about the sincerity of his statements.
