Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio is still a long way from being released, however, it looks like the company is now in the final phases of doing as such. Prior today, the Project Scorpio product page went live on the Microsoft Store.

The Project Scorpio product page on the Microsoft Store doesn't permit clients to preorder the up and coming console. Rather, clients will have the capacity to sign up to get a notification once it's available.

Microsoft also didn't give out a release date on the page just posting "Holiday 2017" as a release window. The page has three visual points highlighting the main components or features of Project Scorpio.

In spite of the fact that the recently activated item page for Project Scorpio doesn't generally give out any new information about the up and coming console, it seems like Microsoft's plans are on schedule.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer implied recently that Microsoft may give out more details on Project Scorpio just before E3 2017. Microsoft later affirmed that it will have a pre-show press conference at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 11, as pointed out by Game Rant. The current year's E3 is planned to occur at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 13 until June 15.

The most discussed issues with respect to Project Scorpio is its cost or price. Spencer previously cited that it would carry a premium price tag. This implies it will certainly cost more than the $300 Xbox One S.

"Will turn out at a price that we believe is reasonable for the product that we build and the clients will let us know as they always do," Spencer said. "I call it premium since I don't want people to get confused that somehow Scorpio is the thing that will assume control over the Xbox line."
