Moto, now owned by its parent firm Lenovo unveiled a set of new mods for the 'Moto Z' smartphone, at the Mobile World Congress, back in February this year. Among those in the list included the popular power battery pack mod, since a lot of users suffer from lack of adequate battery power on their smartphones. It is a smart external power source.

However, fresh reports from the internet indicate that Moto has delayed their new Moto Z Power Battery Pack which was expected to be available very soon after the CES event. Details from Digital Trends reveals the product has been delayed until Spring this year due to unknown reasons. According to details from Phandroid, a Moto spokesperson revealed the news giving no reason whatsoever for the delay. It increases the battery capacity of the smartphone externally, by offering an additional 50 percent of device activity.

It was one among the many products unveiled by Moto at the MWC event in Barcelona that concluded in March this year.  Meanwhile, other details from Android Authority also speculated it's cost to be $49.The report also mentioned that Moto had not committed to a specific date to launch their Moto Z Power battery pack. While the actual factors for the delay are currently unspecified by the manufacturer, their new product might be available sometime in the second half of June this year.

Undoubtedly there would be a bulk factor to the smartphone which shouldn't be too concerning since any additional add-on to a device would inevitably see an increase in its weight and thickness.Moto has also unveiled other products in the same event which include a wireless charging back alongside a gamepad to facilitate a comfortable gameplay to mobile gamers. All of them currently await their releases to the markets.
