Samsung is taking another step of innovating their product this year. The South Korean tech company allegedly will now start testing the dual-screen foldable smartphone prototype that has been rumored to be the next fresh device for the company. So, how will the company design the phone and what will it offer to the consumers?

From a textile and retail company, Samsung started to enter the electronics industry and tried to established a name in the field. For over the years, it ventured itself to manufacturing and producing modern products and gadgets such appliances, mobile phones, and semiconductors. Now, it has been one of the leading company in terms of electronics and telecommunication manufactured goods.

As the competition for sophisticated devices is getting tougher, Samsung has found ways to make their product stood out with others. And for the past few months, rumors are spreading that it have developed a dual-screen foldable smartphone that will surely top other competitors. Latest news is spreading that the said phone will undergo initial testing this year.

According to SlashGear, Samsung will soon be commencing a preliminary checking of a prototype phone they named the 'Galaxy X'. The said smartphone will feature two screens which will hinge horizontally in the middle and that can fold in half. And how can this happen?

Samsung is said to be using the latest technology of flexible OLED panels to produce these smartphones. And as earlier said, it plans to test the 'Galaxy X' dual-screen this year. Further details are saying that it can be opened 180-degree and folded just like the previous flip phone.

The Verge also added that Samsung revealed that the 'Galaxy X' prototype smartphones will sports a pair of rigid, 5-inch OLED display that can be foldable with ease. Industry sources said that foldable product will most likely the trending innovation today and taking some attention in the market.

However, Samsung is planning to produce a limited number of 'Galaxy X' between 2,000 to 3,000 units in the first half of 2017. The giant tech company also never confirmed if the said smartphone will go through mass production up to this time.
