The OnePlus 3 and 3T has received a new beta update that would optimize a lot of features on the phone. The Chinese phones would also have some fixes on issues reported by its users.

In a report published by Phone Arena, the OnePlus 3 and 3T will receive an OxygenOS Open Beta 5 or Open Beta 14 for OnePlus 3. It would focus on improving and fixing any problems that were met in the previous beta update. The previous beta update added a new launcher and support shortcuts for the Android 7.1.1 operating system.

The company mentioned that they have already fixed an issue of system reboot whenever the user sets a wallpaper and the problem where settings of wallpaper would not work. They have also added in their OnePlus and 3T some optimizations in order to prevent Launcher crash and removes some irrelevant wallpaper entry.

Among the improvements in the OxygenOS Open Beta 5 are some features on the Night Mode like fixing an issue that would not turn off the auto night mode. With this update on OnePlus 3 and 3T, the default sunrise time was moved from 8 AM to 6 AM.

The OxygenOS Open Beta 5 also aims to bring some improvement on the Bluetooth features of the OnePlus3 and 3T like car Bluetooth fixes and battery optimization while using this feature. Some issues on auto connection were also fixed by the update.

XDA Developers has reported that the OxygenOS Open Beta 5 improves OnePlus3 and 3T's GPS accuracy, which could lessen the possibility to drop the connection. Furthermore, the phone also included some dark theme, translation improvements, and optimizations.

The OxygenOS Open Beta 5 will arrive on OnePlus 3 and 3T as an OTA if the user has previously had another Open Beta on the phone. If the user has used the Beta patch, bear in mind that they will no longer have the official stable OTAs.
