DJI has something to offer once again to its loyal consumers in the coming days. The Chinese company will reportedly introduce a tiny drone at the upcoming May event in New York. What will this new product offer and what improvement does it have from its Mavic Pro?

DJI is a Chinese technology company that manufactures unmanned aerial vehicles or also known as drones for aerial photography, flight controllers, and flight platform activities. And two years ago, the company was listed as the leading firm on producing civilian-drone in the market.

Since then, DJI has been a well-known company that specializes in producing high-value drones aside from making it a famous aerial flying platform for consumers. Some of its famous drones are the A2, Flame Wheel model, Phantom model and the recent Mavic Pro. And now, the company reportedly will introduce once again a new drone that allegedly will set it apart from their previous drones.

According to TechCrunch, DJI sends out invitations to media and purportedly will reveal the latest drone in an event in May at New York. Leaked videos of the said drone are already spreading and they named it 'the little Spark'. In the video, the said product is much smaller to the Mavic Pro and the Chinese drone company is looking to sell it at a lower price.

Some details of Spark also revealed the little drone's improved prop arms and two axle gimbal but it still retains the collision detection and brushless motors just like the Mavic Pro. Aside from that, DJI allegedly will launch the drone without a controller and users is required to use a smartphone to take control of the drone.

Pocket-lint.com added that DJI new 'little Spark' may also have the same foldable design just like the Mavic Pro but on a smaller scale. The video further shows that the drone can be hand carry and have an upright slanting camera.

And just like what was said earlier, DJI appears to be not going after the technology side of the newest drone but rather focusing on lowering its price. The least expensive drone on the Chinese company product line is Phantom 3 Standard at $499 while the latest Mavic Pro has a mind-blowing price tag of $999. Speculations are spreading that the drone company is willing to release its latest drone for the price of $500.
