Acer has introduced a new display mainly for creative professionals, professional photographers and video editors who mainly rely on color-accurate displays for their mainstream content. The new Acer BM320 is a 4K display with the screen being 32 inches in size. Acer mentions that the new monitor has been certified with factory-calibrated colors.

The Acer BM320 display according to Acer has been perfectly color calibrated by offering 100% Adobe RGB and sRGB which will mainly help professional photographers who also print their works. Since the output is mainly in sRGB, the outcome of the image will be color accurate post processing the image. According to Slash Gear, Acer has primarily focused on achieving 100% color space for both color gamuts.

Out of the box, the Acer BM320 comes with their Acer ColorPlus suite. The monitor also offers 10-bit color depth which is as good as it can get, for a display. Acer says their new monitor has fully precise hues stressing that it is the smallest difference the human eye can see. A review from  Tom's Hardware points out that the new display will specifically suit post-production and graphical workstations.

Acer has assured that their factory-certified calibration on the BM320 display has guaranteed error levels of less than 1dE compared to a visible standard of 3dE. The latter is currently the level of standard of calibrations for televisions, projectors and computer displays. Acer has also provided a six-axis color adjustment to create custom gamuts to maintain the current calibration on the display if needed.

Connectivity options on the Acer BM320 display include a DVI port, an HDMI 2.0 Port and a DisplayPort 1.2 along with 4 USB3.0 ports. There's also two 2W speakers.
