The latest flagship smartphone from Samsung, the Galaxy S8, and the S8 Plus were released in March this year that is currently their premium device for 2017. With a Snapdragon 835 processor onboard and an infinity edge display, it has quickly gained popularity worldwide due to a completely new design and top of the line features.

The Galaxy S8 smartphone is now having some storage issues as reported by Forbes. The problem is specifically due to the variation of a slower flash storage from Toshiba. The UFS(Universal Flash Storage) 2.0 is used on the Snapdragon 835 variant of the smartphone instead of the advertised UFS 2.1 storage that Samsung has quietly removed from the list of onboard specifications.

Other problems for the Galaxy S8 smartphone include a smaller resolution of 2260x1080 px out of the box while the advertised 2960x1440p can only be opted for, after navigating to the display settings. The probable reason is maybe that Samsung has opted for a smaller resolution in order to save battery life. According to details from BGR, the South Korean manufacturer also reintroduced their explosive Galaxy Note 7 phablet as a rebranded 'Galaxy Note 7R' in China.

The Galaxy Note 7R indicating that it is a refurbished device of the actual Galaxy Note 7 and has increased space around the battery shell. It is also smaller in capacity at 3200mAh. Samsung really had some major trouble with the device and had to issue a global recall when the initial launch period was plagued with exploding batteries while some even caught fire while the device was charging. The real problems for the manufacturer began when many countries authorized a nationwide ban while airline carriers also took a similar step in order to ensure safety for all other passengers onboard.
