Samsung is once again on the verge of making a grandest presentation of its newest smartphone product line. The South Korean based company reportedly will introduce its most powerful and rugged smartphone that they have ever manufactured, the Galaxy S8 Active. What makes the new Samsung's handset different from the company's other smartphone product line?

Samsung is a multinational technology company that designs, develops and sells high-end consumer electronic products such as home appliances and top-tier devices. For the past years, the South Korean tech company has focused on producing modern gadgets like smartphones and phablets and it appears that the strategy works as they built a reputation in the electronic industry.

Now, Samsung is one of the leading smartphone makers in the world and continues to invent innovative gadgets. Just last month, the giant tech company releases one of its flagship smartphones for this year, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. And now, the company is to be ready to unveil again its newest handset, the Galaxy S8 Active.

According to Forbes, leaks of the Samsung latest smartphone product line, the Galaxy S8 Active, was posted by the Wireless Power Consortium online. Based on the leaked image, the next handset in the S8 family looks to have some design changes which is a common trend in order to correct the previous version and make it more suitable for consumers.

The leaked image seems to have solved two problematic points on the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus design. First, the curved design appears to have straightened out a bit for the Galaxy S8 Active as Samsung have to do without an edge-to-edge display and go for a rugged design. The other improvement is its protection where the giant tech company seems to have enhanced its casing.

Digital Trends further added that Samsung appears to encase the Galaxy S8 Active in a harder wearing and tougher body shell. With this, the next Galaxy S8 handset will not be too fragile and sports a rugged appearance that's durable and protected. It looks to be similar to the LG G6 due to its 18:9 display aspect ratio.

The Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch screen display, a Snapdragon 835 chipset and a 12-megapixel rear camera which most likely will also sport the Galaxy S8 Active. So far, there is no confirmation on when the S8 Active will be available but based on last year, the Galaxy S7 Active was revealed in June 2016 that might happen again this year.
