Just recently, reports about the Huawei Honor 8 bug issues have taken some attention in the online news. The problem pertains to the microphone-related bug that made some Honor 8 users frustrated and upset feeling that they can't use the handset well. But now, it appears that the Chinese multinational company has sorted out the dilemma.

Huawei is Chinese multinational networking and telecommunication equipment company that is famous for manufacturing communication and networking products for the consumer market. But lately, the company has focused on producing high-end devices like smartphones, tablets and others. And Huawei Honor 8 is one of the luxurious handsets on their product line.

Release July last year, Huawei Honor 8 is the successor and upgrade version of the Huawei Honor 7, the flagship device under Honor brand for 2015. Just like the other Honor brand, Honor 8 is boost with high-quality features but at a very affordable price, which is one of its advantages. However, the smartphone just recently got some bug issue regarding its microphone feature.

But now, Huawei has released an update in order to settle this bug once and for all. According to GoAndroid, the Huawei Honor 8 will now be receiving a 'microphone' bug fix update in the US region. The bug is pertaining to the microphone issue while using the Google Assistant, the Camera and Voice Recorder where a 'microphone is already in use' message is being displayed.

The update will have a build designation of FRD-L14C567B385 carrying an 815MB upgrade that will be based on Android Nougat software. But Huawei Honor 8 handset is at least fifty percent charged up in order to download the update on a Wi-Fi connection.

Android Headlines further added that update will also feature the April 2017 security patch which seems to be late base on the date right now. Aside from the 'microphone' bug fix and security patch, the update carries other updates that haven't divulge yet as of this time. The Huawei Honor 8 will still have the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and EMUI 5.0 but the much-anticipated Android 7.1.1 might be arriving on Huawei's next device.

To get the update manually, Huawei Honor 8 users must go to Settings then click About and then Software updates. Just said earlier, device users must make sure that the handset has the recommended fifty percent battery charge to prevent the interruption in the download.
