Tech enthusiasts are long anticipating the launch of OnePlus 5 and several leaked details about the killer smartphone are already available online. The leaked package showed that the device will have dual cameras and that the company is indeed partnering with the DxO company.

According to Gadgets NDTV, the OnePlus 5 will sport a 5.5inch multi-touch display with a 2560x1440 resolution. The flagship device is said to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. The handset is also identified to have 8GB of RAM paired with 64GB of built-in storage and will have a 128GB option as well.

Other key features of the OnePlus 5 is its battery pack of 3300mAh, which is supported with the company’s Dash Charge feature. However, current leaked photos showed that it will not have the traditional 3.5mm headphone port. Yet, some say that the jack could be placed above the device’s body.

Aside from that, a Twitter post from the company’s page showed the OnePlus 3T with the caption: "Look into the shadows. What do you 5ee?" Yet, there is another device beneath the 3T, which is believed to be the OnePlus 5 since the letter S in the caption is replaced by the numeral 5. It was also stated by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau that the OnePlus 5 will be the company’s slimmest smartphone.

OnePlus said that last month that they will be partnering with DxO on their upcoming flagship phone. "We’re happy to announce that we have teamed up with DxO to enhance your photography experience with our upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 5,” the Chinese manufacturer shared on their blog per Android Authority.

Furthermore, it was noted that the package leak of the device confirmed the dual camera setup for the OnePlus 5 with accords to its partnership with DxO. The words on the package were identified to be “Dual Camera. Clearer Photos.” The dual cameras of the device are expected to be an RGB sensor and a monochrome sensor instead of the usual wide angle or zoom lens for detailed photographs.

Nonetheless, tech enthusiasts would have to wait in order to confirm details about the upcoming OnePlus 5. The flagship smartphone’s price is rumored to cost around CNY 3,000 (roughly Rs. 28,300) as the OnePlus 3T has the price of CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 25,500). The release date of the device is expected to be this June 15.
