Two iMac models are fortunate enough to receive major updates from Apple as revealed at the WWDC 2017 event. The company has announced to give faster processors, brighter displays, and faster storage for the 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs.

It's not only the 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro which was given prioritized by Apple for updates this year. According to MacRumors, even two iMac models such as the 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs were announced with some major updates at the Worldwide Developers Conference which started last Monday.

The two iMac models are said to have upgraded processors, faster storage, brighter displays, among others. Specifically, Apple reported that the 21.5-inch iMac will have three times more powerful graphics, faster storage, an added Retina 4K display, discrete graphics and Thunderbolt 3 at the same price of $1299.

The updated processors of the two iMac models are the popularly faster Kaby Lake processors with up to 4.2 GHz with a Turbo Boost of up to 4.5 GHz. Furthermore, the Kaby Lake is said to support twice the memory capacity compared to its previous generations. Moreover, another upgrade for the two iMac models are the SSD storage options that are now 50 percent faster as well as the Fusion Drive for the 27-inch configurations.

The graphics will be even more powerful for the upgrades of the two iMac models for both will have the Radeon Pro 500-series cards with up to 8GB of VRAM. Even the memories of both iMac models will be twice greater than its previous generations, plus the addition of Thunderbolt 3 feature.

The Apple iMac is popular on its incredibly thin and seamless enclosure, even with its fast processor and storage with a gorgeous Retina display making it the gold standard for desktops. Now, the 21-.5-inch iMac and 27-inch iMac will be greater than before because of the major updates from the company.
