Great news for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T handset users today. OnePlus company just recently rolled out an over-the-air (OTA) OxygenOS 4.1.5 update for both devices. What new additions and key updates will the new operating system brings for both devices?

OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T are the flagship handset for the OnePlus company last year. The former was released on June 14, 2016 carrying a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, 16MP rear camera, and 8MP front camera while the latter was unveiled on November 15, 2016 featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64/128GB internal storage, 16MP rear camera with the same 16MP front shooter.

Last April, both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T got an Oxygen 4.1.3 update as a bug fix from the previous 4.1.1 software. Today, both devices will get another fresh update with the latest OxygenOS 4.1.5 software. The company website detailed important additions, updates, bug fixes and optimizations the newest software have.

According to OnePlus website, the company has started rolling out the OxygenOS 4.1.5 update for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The forum further itemized the different new additions and key updates that the new software brings to both devices. One new addition says that there will be now a push notification system for vital information coming from OnePlus.

OxygenOS 4.1.5 will bring an updated network settings for selected carriers for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T and will have the OnePlus community app upgraded to version 1.8. The software will also carry the latest May security patch while the WiFi no internet indication icon will be modified.

Phone Arena further added that OxygenOS 4.1.5 for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will feature new bug fixes that include storage issues on third-party file managers and the VoLTE issue on Jio SIM cards is also been taken care of. Furthermore, recurring connection issue on the Android Auto program is also fixed.

With the latest OxygenOS 4.1.5 software, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will have a better optimization to its battery, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS feature plus its proximity sensor. It will also have camera low light focus and improved expanded screenshot as well as. However, the software update will be incremental on the first few days but OnePlus promise to broader rollout in the succeeding days.
