Microsoft just recently unveiled and launched its latest Surface Laptop in the market. Aside from that, the latest Surface Laptop will also allow owners to revert to Windows 10 S operating system even if they upgrade it to the Windows 10 Pro.

According to PCWorld, since the latest Surface Laptop was introduced during the company's May 2 education event in New York, it already got the attention and interest of many people due to its specifications and features and here are some details of it.

Microsoft packed the latest Surface Laptop with a 7th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 Kaby Lake processor that comes with a 4GB up to 16GB of RAM and an internal storage that ranges from 128GB up to 512GB depending on the laptop version the customers would like. It also has an amazing 13.5-inch PixelSense Display for a 2256 x 1504 pixels resolution and supported by an Intel HD 620 graphics card for the Core i5 version while an Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 for the Core i7.

Microsoft also fills in the latest Surface Laptop with 720p HD front camera, a battery life that allegedly could last of up to 14.5 hours video playback and most importantly a Windows 10 S operating system that owners could upgrade to a Windows 10 Pro until December 31, 2017. The latest Surface Laptop is touted to be one of thinnest and lightest laptop with a dimension of 12.13 x 8.79 x 0.57 inches and weighs only 2.76 pounds.

And speaking of an operating system (OS), Microsoft allows the Surface Laptop owners to revert back to Windows 10 S even after upgrading it to the Windows 10 Pro according to MSPoweruser. Initially, the Surface Laptop is already loaded with a Windows 10 S OS but users won't be able to download and use app or game that is not included in the Windows Store.

Now, Microsoft gives the users to upgrade to the Windows 10 Pro that will be free of charge until late this year. However, experts say that the Windows 10 S is more efficient than the Windows 10 Pro and they are pointing to the more battery life for the 10 S than the 10 Pro. With this, it's up to the owners what will make them more comfortable with using and what will be valuable to them.
