The new Jeep Wrangler 2017 is evolving into a light yet efficient terrain vehicle to meet US standards and be a well-promoted market entity. Sources say that the vehicle is slated for release to dealers at the of the year and will be available in January 2018. The model will have its intro in all its glory at the Los Angeles Auto Show this October.
Jeep Wrangler to maintain its emblematic image
The new Jeep Wrangler 2017 will be hanging on to its original design. The manufacturers still want to hold on to its Jeep signature character as this is the symbolic icon for the car maker, as the Porsche has its 911. The new model will still look like a wrangler with a few tweaks like the rounded headlights slightly situated from the grill to the fender for some aerodynamic design for the vehicle.
According to a leaked supplier information, the body and the doors of the Jeep wrangler 2017 will be of an aluminum material for a lightweight feature. The aluminum doors (front and rear inner) and the hood (inner and outer) is confirmed by the Aluminum Supplier, Alcoa, a company that invented the Aluminum Industry in 1888, reports Digital Trends.
What to Expect at the Los Angele Auto Show from the new Jeep Wrangler 2017
At the LA Auto Show launching of the Jeep Wrangler 2017, an automatic or manual drive 3.6-liter V6 engine will be on display together with the 2.0-liter four cylinder that is only available in automatic. The engine will be turbocharged basing on the 300 Hp in capacity.
Another feature that will be added is a sliding power operated hard top for the Jeep Wrangler 2017. This addition which was rumored earlier has become a reality as seen by mug shots of the test vehicles, reports Autoblog.
A rumored model is around the web for a diesel Jeep Wrangler for the new generation that will have its introduction late next year and be available in January 2019. Various colors for the model presentation on its launch date will be revealed at the LA Auto Show.
