You know what's even more infuriating than having your internet access while your favorite social media app is "Under Construction"? When Mark Zuckerberg brings his pesky construction plans to your very own neighborhood.

In an article published by the San Francisco Chronicle, home to the Facebook founder and social media mogul, neighbors of the star reached out in anger over the 17-month-long construction process that has put Zuckerberg away in a fortress leaving neighbors to have to deal with the torn up streets.

Round-the-clock security blocking any access to the home is the least of the community's problems as Zuckerberg's crew has backhoes and jackhammers tasked with everything from building him a new wine cellar to tearing up sidewalks for the evidently "necessary" fiber-optic network the Facebook founder is having installed.

"This is nothing short of a fortress" one neighboring homeowner, who asked to remain anonymous, said.

And as you may remember, just last year Zuckerberg was accused of taking over the neighborhood after he purchased the four homes surrounding his for an estimated $30 million, just so that he could have a say so in community's plans for bringing in new tenants and builders nearby.

So what's all the commotion about? It turns out that Zuckerberg and his wife are looking to update the circa 1920's home they bought just a few years back, and ten public permits are revealing their plans.

One Permit priced at $720,000 was requested for the addition of an office, media room, half bathroom, mudroom, laundry room, wine room and wet bar, plus an entirely new second-floor half bathroom and remodel of the second, third and fourth stories.

Another for $750,000 was requested for an addition which will branch off from the rear and side of the home, along with window restoration work and reconfigured landscaping.

And that's not even all that the Zuckerberg residence has planned to change in the months to come. Let's see how long it takes his SF neighbors to un-friend him if the construction persists!
