If you live anywhere in the world, the name Elon Musk should ring a bell. Have you heard of Tesla? The bestselling all-electric car in the world. Rings a bell? He is one of the foremost visionaries of the digital age or the Steve Jobs of the automotive world. He can be compared to Howard Hughes the eccentric inventor, who built the Spruce Goose and other things! Think of him and Elon Musk as prophets of different ages but with pretty much the same goal too. How would you define him? Earth-bound eccentric or visionary of the next digital age and pioneer of the first starship space flight by a private corporation.

It can be called a dream, but his fascination with all things out of this world includes flying to Mars as the first manned space flight. Years ago, NASA went to the moon and sent several Apollo missions there. Now we have Tesla's visionary making the first steps, just like the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk flying the first plane. Meet his creation, SpaceX Starship, that is the first-ever prototype to attempt to bring the first people to Mars.

There are some things about the SpaceX Starship project that should interest readers about it.

What is the SpaceX Starship?

A spacecraft that is manned and can carry cargo to and from. Whether be it the moon or Mars, wherever it can go to. Just like the rockets in Buck Rogers, it is designed to land in standing position. Will it go beyond Mars? That's yet to be found out, though.

How will it be propelled?

It is equipped with six Raptor rocket engines that use liquid oxygen and methane as fuel. Sending it up with more power is the Super Heavy booster with 37 to 24 Raptor engines to escape Earth's gravity. The Starship and Super Heavy booster will be stacked on each other. Both are designed to be reusable to make operating both more economical.

Is it flying soon?

The target date for sending cargo to Mars is 2022, other than that there isn't much to go by. SpaceX Starship might make a moon flight in 2024 and land in the South Pole, according to NASA.

Where is SpaceX Starship berthed?

The facilities for it are located in McGregor, Texas, where it will be improved and developed until perfected.

What material is used to make it?

The prototype is made of aluminum, and other than that, nothing is verified! Everything is not public, and it depends on Musk if the information will become available.

You can never tell if the SpaceX Starship of Elon Musk will ever fly. It should be noted that the right brothers were heckled and jeered at for believing their Wright Flyer will work. For all intents and purposes, whether visionary or eccentric. He has made everyone dream the impossible and believes a man can fly to the stars. Do you agree? Or just shrug it off as just eccentric whims?
