Samsung is back yet again, this time offering customers two different versions of the same phone from which they can choose. The announcement of the Samsung S6 and Samsung S6 Edge has caused quite a stir in the smartphones market.

In the smartphone world and mobile phone industry in general, convenience, design, and style sell. Samsung seems to have mastered this trend and are up in arms to satisfy each individual's taste and preference. With Samsung S6 Edge, Samsung is on the right track to triumph in a world of persistent transformation, intense competition, and unstoppable innovation. That said, the Samsung S6 and S6 Edge designs and technological features, we think, will be unmatched.

Samsung S6 Edge will have a screen that curves around its sides. This way, users will have quick and convenient access to contacts as well as stay abreast with vital information. Despite having similar features, Samsung S6 Edge will cost more than its peer Samsung S6.

According to Samsung, the two phones will both feature a 64-bit processor which is more powerful and energy efficient when compared to Samsung S5. Talking of Samsung S5, Samsung lost its market share to Apple Inc. alongside other smartphone giants after it sold fewer copies of Samsung S5 than they had projected. However, the South Korean firm says that it has done everything to address the "Missteps" and anticipates that the unveiled phone will sell as projected.

As reported in BBC News, Samsung S6 comes with an intricate design that gives a more premium feel than the S5. So, what features are we expecting?  There are a number of changes to expect in Samsung S6. For convenience, Samsung has cut the number of pop-up messages that were witnessed in the earlier versions. In addition, Samsung S6 will have a metal frame and glass back as opposed to earlier models' plastic styling.

In spite of the elegance that comes with the redesign, there are concerns that some features may be chucked out. The phones lack a micro SD slot for extra storage. They are also not water resistant. Notably, the back of the phone cannot be removed to change the battery.

On the other hand, the S6 Edge comes with a number of intriguing features. One such feature is the 'People Edge'. It provides the user with the ability to bring up calls, texts and other messages from a selection of five acquaintances depending on the owner's preference. With the 'People Edge' feature, each person is allotted a unique color code which the phone's edges flash during a call. This way, the user can have a hint of who's calling even when the phone is facedown!

The 'Information Stream' feature will display vital information such as the weather, time and other selected notifications on the curved parts.

The phones are expected to go on sale on 10 April, 2015 in 20 countries.
