Sometimes cats can be annoying, and an easy way to keep them from being annoying you have to keep them busy. The other problem cats pose is separation anxiety when they are separated from their previous owners. Studies state that if the cat is kept busy, it will overcome its separation anxiety issuse. So how can you keep a cat busy? Well we have an answer for your problem.

Do you love music? Well, so do cats. Recent researches claim that cats also enjoy music, but it must be a specific kind.

The music must also be of the same frequency range as the communication tempos used by them. After lots of research, scientists have developed music for cats.

Researchers from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Maryland have successfully created music for cats. Cats are also known to enjoy human music. But they respond to their cat music much better, moving their heads along with the beat, moving towards the sound, sticking against the speaker etc.

The researchers have experimented this on 47 cats and have almost the same result. First the cats were played human music. Some took interested while others didn't notice it. Then the cats were played music specially designed for them in human voice. All the cats responded and seemed to enjoy that music.

Presently researchers at the University of Wisconsin are now crafting music for cats with natural cats sound and vocalization like meowing, purring etc. The researchers also noticed that the younger and older cats enjoy music more than the middle-aged ones.

The only dilemma here is that the 47 cats on which the music was tested were mixed breeds. Scientists are yet to confirm whether certain breeds like music more than the others or if all the breeds have that same response to cat music.
