Tech Billionaire Spends $2 Million Annually to Reverse Aging; Check Out Free Alternative to Achieve the Same Result.

We can't stop aging, but it's not a secret that many want to hold on to their youthful look. A tech tycoon even spends millions to slow down the aging process. If you're going to do the same, you can without shedding millions.

Free Alternative to Reverse Aging

Science Alert shared a free alternative that you can practice to maintain your youthful appearance longer than others. Tech tycoon Bryan Johnson spends $2 million annually to keep his youthful look. He also holds a lifestyle that supports his pursuit of youth.

Johnson claims to practice a 23-hour fast daily. He then consumes 2,250 calories of nutrient-rich food "customized" to his body's requirements at one meal every day.

Fasting is the free alternative you can do to hold onto your youth. The inflammation levels, hormonal balance, and cardiometabolic health (blood sugar, triglycerides, cholesterol, blood pressure, BMI, and waist circumference) can all benefit from eating at time-restricted portions of the day.

However, eating like a Spartan can affect our body's glucose tolerance, which is how it reacts to sugar. Additionally, cutting calories at each meal is often just as beneficial for weight maintenance.

According to the Times of India, when we fast, our body starves, leading to metabolic changes. The body will use the energy from our stored fats and extract glucose from non-carbohydrate sources like amino acids.

Fasting also increases our purines and pyrimidine levels, elevating the antioxidant levels in our body and improving our overall health and skin. Antioxidants sustain the balance while the body starves, and it helps build back what the body loses due to oxidative stress and free radicals.

However, the minimal risk-benefit results of fasting require confirmation by large-scale, lengthy human trials.

What Did Bryan Johnson Do In Pursuit of Youth?

In a previous Science Times report, Johnson goes the extra mile to keep the aging process slow. He exercises daily for an hour, takes 24 supplements, takes green juice with collagen peptides and creatine, and brushes his teeth with antioxidant gel and tea tree oil.

He also keeps a clean diet by being a vegan with a calorie intake of 1,977 daily. He wanted his major organs, including kidneys, liver, brain, skin, penis, teeth, and rectum, like in his late adolescence. The 45-year-old's strenuous daily activity is reportedly effective as it has granted him a 37-year-old's heart, a 28-year-old's skin, and an 18-year-old's fitness and lung capacity.

However, per ScienceAlert, he also does weekly acid peels to exfoliate his skin and maintain his youthful glow. He also engaged in a bizarre youth-inducing procedure involving a blood transfusion from his 17-year-old son. Plasma infusion reportedly addresses age-related diseases. There are no proven clinical benefits from it at present.

Johnson acknowledged the extremities of his daily routine in pursuit of youth. He is doing it to show that one can at least slow down the body's decay and avoid self-harm.
