Several netizens sighted a blue light hovering in the skies of Philadelphia. A number recorded it on their cameras and shared it on social media, sparking rumors that it was a UFO (unidentified flying object).

UFO Sighting in Philadelphia?

Chuck Callesto, a social media strategist, was among those who shared their encounter with the bizarre blue light on X, formerly Twitter. Callesto's clip showcases the flickering blue light against the night sky.

"SHOCK VIDEO: Unidentified blue object with GLOWING LIGHT appears in the skies over Philadelphia," he wrote in the caption. "MULTIPLE SIGHTINGS REPORTED."

Another user shared a different angle of the UFO. This time, it showed the object slowly descending into the Delaware River. The blue light was submerged in the river but reappeared and ascended into the skies.

"umm....a UFO seen earlier in the day in South Philadelphia has now been filmed diving into the Delaware River," the caption read.

The posts received mixed responses from the netizens who had various speculations about the sighting. One said it was probably a drone with a glow stick.

Another had the same thought, saying it was a drone or balloon with some LED lights attached to it. A different user added that it was indeed a drone, as shown by its reflection in the water. It reportedly had a blue LED light strip tied to it like a fishing line that would be invisible to the naked eye and camera.

Meanwhile, others have a different take on it. They suggested that it was probably part of Project Blue Beam. One said it was "literally Operation Blue Beam," and it was only an illusion; that's why it looked solid and dipped in the water before returning. The user doubted that it was an alien vehicle. Otherwise, it would head to a particular destination instead of floating and mucking around. Another added that it was a "very pathetic version of Project Blue Beam."

A US Army claimed similar sightings when she was stationed in Hawaii. They saw the same object with the exact shape and color and they would always disappear into the ocean. They were reportedly very common, so they didn't find the sightings a big deal. The authorities have not released an official statement about the sighting.

What Is Project Blue Beam

Jerid Yaw, a conspiracy theorist, discussed his ideas on this topic with his well-known brother, YouTuber Shane Dawson. Project Blue Beam, according to Jerid, centers on a dangerous elite group preparing a large-scale false flag operation to mimic an extraterrestrial invasion using cutting-edge technology in an attempt to create a new global order.

Canadian conspiracy researcher Serge Monast found this purported scheme in 1994 and described it in a book published in the same year. According to reports, Monast laid out a number of phases in the strategy, each intended to gradually persuade the people that an alien invasion was about to occur.

Finding records that alter our understanding of our world, perplexing us and expanding our thoughts to consider alternative realities, will be the first stage. The goal of the second phase, according to Jerid, is for everyone to be able to envision what this would look like. The greatest way to accomplish this is through movies.

He went so far as to say that "Independence Day," a 1996 motion picture, was a component of this psychological training. According to Jerid, the third step will involve projecting holographic pictures into the sky so that we can watch the extraterrestrial invasion.

The fourth phase entails placing all of us in subterranean bunkers and submerging us. The fortunate ones will be the ones that make it through this "end of the world apocalypse."
