Anthony Stokes, 17, died after invading a house and then crashing a stolen car into a pole and also hitting a woman while trying to get away from the police. The woman who was hit was rushed to the hospital and is now in stable condition.

Stokes needed a heart transplant in 2013. The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta banished the teenager because of behavioral issues and disobeying the doctors. The activists came to his defense and the storage sparked a national outrage.

Finally, the hospital successfully completed the transplant surgery. There were a total of 63 patients from Georgia who received a heart transplant in 2013, according to NY Daily News and the United Network for Organ Sharing.

Melencia Hamilton, mother of Anthony said that "He's a young boy. He's going to make mistakes, but I still think he deserves a second chance."

According to the officials, Anthony allegedly hijacked a car, then burst into a home in Roswell and shot an elderly woman while he was trying to rob her. Luckily, the woman was not hit, according the WSB-TV.

Lisa Holland, of the Roswell Police Department said that "A lady said a person kicked in the door to break into the house. She was inside the living and saw the suspect, who was wearing a mask."

When the cops followed Anthony, he took off at a high speed on the highway. He did a fishtail spin going to the right and that's when he hit a pedestrian. Clementina Hernandez was the pedestrian who was hit, and she was immediately hospitalized in stable condition.

At the same time the car hit the pole and got stuck in the wreckage and Anthony was cut from it. He was hospitalized, but he couldn't make it and died later Tuesday at the hospital, according to the police.
