Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo have introduced and established their own version of gaming console over the years - trying to make it as a must-have device in this generation.

The Xbox One developed by Microsoft and priced at $349 is designed for a game lineup with the likes of Halo 5, Rise of Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6. It is a 500 GB console with an Xbox One wireless controller, a total of 8 GB DDR3 of RAM, 8 GB flash memory, 8 Core AMD custom CPU, Clock Speed: 853 MHz, Shader Cores: 768, 500 GB (5400 rpm) Hard Drive with cloud storage, and voice command.

The Sony's Playstation4 or PS4 system lets its users through a deeply linked gaming world. It is centered around a powerful custom chip that contains eight times 86-64 cores and a state of the art 1.84 TFLOPS graphics processor with 8 GB of ultra-fast GDDR5 unified system memory that enhances game control accuracy, eases game creation and experience, and increases the richness of content achievable on the platform and graphic extensive features.

It also offers a Dual shock wireless controller, which features a highly sensitive six-axis sensor and a touch pad. It creates a high-fidelity graphics for a much enjoyable gaming experience.

Wii U is the successor of Wii and it is the first Nintendo console that supports high-definition graphics. The main controller of the system is the Wii U Gamepad that includes a touchscreen and had been used as a supplement to the main display or to play directly in the gamepad independently on the television. It has an IBM Power®-based multi-core processor setup, AMD RadeonTM-based high-definition GPU, 8 GB with the basic set, 32 GB with the Deluxe Set of storage, and supports 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i. The Wii U is energy efficient and has an open source software. It is priced at around $353.
