Razer Company is known for selling not just ordinary kinds of PC's and PC accessories, but a high-end type of these classes and in 2015, they ventured into the competitive world of android business. They have relaunched the OUYA store as Cortex in the company's forge TV.

Since then, Razer has been unattractive and was not able to get much attention from the community. The company didn't cut their journey in the technology and continued with their android endeavors.

Just recently, it was reported in the Pocket-lint that Razer has earned the assets as well as the team that consists of 30 people with great potential who were behind the Nextbit Robin. This is another step forward for the company in the technology industry.

Nextbit is a smartphone manufacturer who built the Robin and was later bought by Razer. The company has released an announcement confirming that they are no longer selling nor producing the Robin unit as well as its accessories with their official channels. They have also added that the last batch of the unit are being sold right now and not to expect any additional production.

CEO Tom Moss of Nextbit told The Verge that they will not stop in providing a hardware support in 6 months for the Robin in terms of for warranties. It is expected that current users will receive a software update on android OS and security patches in the next 12 months. After these updates, Nextbit won't work on Robin anymore. It is said that the team will be working inside Razer as an independent division that will focus more on mobile designs and experience.

This may sadden the people who wanted Nextbit to succeed, but this step is much better compared to what the other technology company has faced when selling their assets as the only option left. Now that the team is already under a new company, it is expected that they will continue enhancing their projects and ideas that will soon to be the Razer's future products.
