Digital natives are surely aware who are the legends in the mobile industry especially in early 2000's. Both BlackBerry and Nokia used to be in the lead but in the past years, they faded from the stream. But, insiders just shared that the two old names are set to come back.

In a recent article in the Huffington Post, Nokia braved the storm of high-end smartphones by releasing three of their own which carried the Android operating system. These latest addition to the family of well-trusted Nokia phones are the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. It can be remembered that Nokia stepped out of the limelight when it chose the wrong operating system as described by critics for its smartphones, the Microsoft Windows. On their comeback, they went for the safer route by choosing the Android OS.

If Nokia is known for its affordable price, BlackBerry is on the opposite end. Experts actually noted that BlackBerry's high pricing can be one of the factors why it lost some sales, according to The Washington Post. Despite being aware of this turnout, BlackBerry comes back with another high-priced phone, the BlackBerry KEYone which is currently priced at a whopping USD 549. BlackBerry representatives defend their price with the trademarked BlackBerry security and business-perfect interface for their loyal supporters. Although BlackBerry and Nokia might be differing with their price tags, both mobile companies are supporters of the Android OS.

Aside from this latest news from BlackBerry and Nokia, tech enthusiasts are expecting a lot from the two companies with their new backgrounds. Nokia is already acquired by another Finnish tech company, HMD. On the other hand, BlackBerry is now working with TCL for manufacturing and design.

Both companies are indeed back on the track. Will BlackBerry and Nokia be able to bring back their old glory?
