Raspberry Pi Zero W was announced at the celebration of Raspberry Pi Foundation. The mini-PC was packed with WIFI and Bluetooth.

PC World reported that in order to honor the fifth anniversary of Raspberry Pi, the company announced a new device. The device is called Raspberry Pi Zero W, wherein the "W" is an abbreviated as wireless.

The Raspberry Pi Zero W is an ultra-cheap computer that makes it easier to create new projects. Meaning it's a tiny affordable board with chipsets at the price of only $5 to $10 that serves as a foundation for new projects.

According to Engadget, it's been a year since the Raspberry Pi 3 and the preceding Raspberry Pi Zero model were out on the market. Now, the Raspberry Pi Zero W is an all new product at the high quality but low cost.

This Raspberry Pi Zero W is exactly what people are looking for because of its capability for wireless connectivity. Meanwhile, it has the same specifications as the Raspberry Pi Zero. It works with a 1 GHz single-core Broadcom BCM2835 CPU, 40-pin header and a 512MB of Random Access Memory.

The only difference with the Raspberry Pi Zero W and its predecessor is the Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11n WiFi. However, because of the added capability, from $5 it has jumped its price doubled to $10.

To make everything complete, the Raspberry Pi Foundation also announced the official plastic case for the two models. For only $5, the case can give camera adapter flexi cable and rubber feet for protection. It is also available in three swappable lids; the blank, with the aperture or with the mounting point.

Eventually, there is no other DIY board better than the Raspberry Pi Zero W when talking about quality. With the Bluetooth and WIFI, the mini-PC can be used to create projects, even more, easier and useful.
