RECENT DATA SUGGESTS HAND SANITIZER IS HERE TO STAY. BUT CONSUMERS DEMAND MORE THAN JUST CLEAN HANDS.

One of the first things we all learned when the Covid-19 pandemic began was the importance of keeping our hands clean. With guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC), Americans everywhere were implored to thoroughly wash their hands, especially if they'd been out in public. If you weren't able to find a place to wash your hands, the use of hand sanitizer was promoted as the next best alternative.

Since it's often not easy to find a place to wash up while out in public, it should come as no surprise that hand sanitizer quickly headed straight to the top of most Americans' shopping lists. Sanitizer became as important as brushing our teeth, getting a good night's sleep, and making sure we eat three square meals a day. With an unseen deadly menace potentially lurking everywhere, we all started to carry our own bottles of sanitizer or splashed some on our hands at the entrance to every single building we entered.

As the country slowly but surely gets a handle on the pandemic, however, it appears that the regular use of sanitizers has become a habit that is going to stick around for a while.

According to a new poll conducted by Muse Health, which manufactures a range of CDC and FDA compliant hand sanitizers, 65% of respondents stated that they use hand sanitizer as often now as they did during the beginning of the pandemic. 33% say they use it more than once an hour, while 49% say they use it every couple of hours.

That's an incredible amount of hand sanitizer and clearly indicates the trend is here to stay.  That same poll, however, also revealed a major downside to using so much alcohol-based hand sanitizer. 43% of consumers say hand sanitizer dries out their hands. And besides being painful and rather annoying, dried and cracked hands can actually be extremely dangerous.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology Association(ADA), constant use of alcohol-based sanitizers can cause dry skin that can flake, itch, crack, and even bleed without proper precautions. This can cause open wounds in your skin that can allow in bacteria and other germs and increase your risk for infection. To help prevent this, ADA highly recommends the use of hand cream or ointment immediately after sanitizing.

If carrying around yet another essential item all seems a bit too much, Muse Health offers an all-in-one hand sanitizer that covers all of these bases, and more. It's dual action protection that has no equal in an industry literally overflowing with choice.  Muse Health's hand sanitizers contain 62% Ethyl Alcohol and kill 99.9% of germs in 15 seconds leaving you with instant protection. But unlike most hand sanitizers which dry out hands leaving them feeling dry, cracked and vulnerable, their unique gel-cream texture is packed with Vitamin E and Glycerin to lock in moisture for soft, noticeably healthy hands, even after multiple uses.
