The Recent report suggests that Apple would announce or launch new iPads on April 4. One website speculated that Apple will hold an event at Apple Park's Steve Jobs Theater. 12.9-inch iPad Pro is currently showing 2-3 week shipping time on Apple's official website.

Availability on the website suggests that new 12.9-inch iPad Pro would be available on the same day after an announcement. Apple is rumoured to launch three new iPads, an updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro, revised 9.7-inch model to replace the iPad Air 2 and completely new 10.5-inch iPad Pro. As written in 9To5Mac, the formed TUAW editor at AWT speculates that Apple could be planning to hold its event at Steve Jobs Theater located at Apple Park that is company's new campus set to open to employees from next month.

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced on the last event at 1 Infinite Loop that it would be the last one at the current Apple headquarters. Apple Park is scheduled to open in April 2017. On the other side, the company said that new headquarters would open for some employees and landscaping work would continue into the summer. However, it did not specify when the new auditorium would open.

Apple traditionally schedules its event in March so it is possible that Apple will hold an event later this month and ship in April. As written in AppleInsider, Steve Jobs Theater is due to open later in 2017. Apple could conceivably hold an event at Apple Park, but more likely is a keynote event at its existing 1 Infinite Loop campus or a San Francisco venue.

Apple's new iPad Pro is expected to be powered by A10X processor and 4 GB/ 6 GB RAM. There will be a three storage option, 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. Apple might introduce Pencil 2 with better battery life and connectivity.
