Microsoft, one of the biggest global manufacturers of consumer electronics and services, is set to launch the biggest update for its Windows 10 mobile device. The Windows 10 Creators Update will be coming to mobile devices right after its release on Windows 10 PC, the company has confirmed.

According to the Express, the release of the Windows 10 Creators Update on the Microsoft laptops and PC’s will be happening in April. Though no definite date has been fixed for the release of the mobile version of the update, sources say that it will follow soon after the release of the PC version. Noticeably, Microsoft did the same for its devices during the launch of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update in 2016.

Reportedly, the Windows 10 Creators Update is more inclined towards the PC users’ advantage. However, mobile device users can also find a few feasible features on this new upgrade. One such is the “Continuum” feature which enables the user to access multiple windows at the same time. A number of improvements to the Microsoft Edge Browser and better Wi-Fi support are also promised on the new upgrade. The Windows 10 Creators Update will also feature a new version of Paint with 3D.

According to the Independent, the Windows 10 Creators Update might take a significant amount of time to be released. Though there has been a confirmation about the time of launch, Microsoft might defer the arrival of the updated version on all devices in order to fix any probable bugs and keep away from overcrowding its servers.

The company did the same for its Anniversary edition as well. After its launch on 2nd August, it took almost two months for only 35 percent Windows 10 devices to receive the upgrade. The Anniversary edition update was available to 90 percent devices after seven long months from its launch. Looking at the previous trends, the Windows 10 Creators Update might follow the same path.

However, Microsoft, through its Windows 10 Insider Program, lets certain number of users to test and provide feedback regarding the latest upgrades. The same might be implemented in case of the Windows 10 Creators Edition, although the users might be at the risk of their devices being harmed in the process.
