Samsung Galaxy Book was released at a reasonable price. The tablet is known to be a competitor of the Microsoft Surface Pro.

The Verge reported that Samsung had surprisingly announced its new tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Book. With all the features of the Galaxy Book, it was thought as a copycat of the Microsoft Surface Pro and happens to be its competitor.

The Windows 10-powered Samsung Galaxy Book will obviously compete with the Microsoft Surface Pro. It is now available from Verizon and can be preordered since April 21st at the price starting from $629.99 for the 10.6-inch Galaxy Book 10. While another larger model is the 12-inch Galaxy Book 12 at the price starting at $1,129.99.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 10 has WIFI, while the Galaxy Book 12 larger model is packed with LTE that makes its price higher than the Book 10, but both have WIFI only models. Meanwhile, the two Samsung Galaxy Book will have its general availability starting on the 21st of May on selected retailers like Best Buy.

Meanwhile, according to ZDNet, though the Samsung Galaxy Book is not been totally released, its announcement is causing an approaching and obvious competition with the Microsoft Surface Pro and other tablet manufacturers. And because the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is still in the making, the market is getting field with tablets from Dell, HP, Lenovo, and now from Samsung.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Book 12 already comes with an S Pen and Keyboard Case as well as its specs isn't that much surprising. The Galaxy Book runs in an Intel Core i5 processor with high capacity memory and up to 11 hours of battery life.

Samsung said that the high demand for 2-in-1 tablets in the market especially in the enterprises like healthcare, finance, and natural markets made them decide to manufacture the Samsung Galaxy Book. However, its existence of being almost a copycat of the Microsoft Surface Pro products may convince the fans to buy the Galaxy Book than to keep waiting for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5.
