From thereon, Cloudflare has established a name in the online services industry and have teamed up with various web hosts companies. Now, the San Francisco-based company has added a service that will offer a security option on high-tech gadgets.

According to PCWorld, Cloudflare launches a service to secure IoT devices from external hacks. The company called the technology as Cloudflare Orbit that will give smart internet-connected devices some protection to unwanted attacks from online attackers. Aside from protecting the gadgets, the security service will deploy patches much quicker to avoid further infiltration.

With this, Cloudflare security service will benefit millions of users and firms to further enhance their websites and secure it from malicious attacks. The San Francisco-based company server will provide obscure proxies between a website and its visitors through a firewall protection.

For the past years hacking have been a major concern in the online world and most IoT devices such as security cameras and video recorders have been infiltrated. With this, hackers have control of confidential data and compromise some sensitive information as well. Now, Cloudflare security service could ease some worries to internet-connected device users.

The Internet of Business also added over a 120 million IoT devices are already hooked up to Cloudflare network that will first benefit the security service. The network squeezes data transmitted that will also allow speed up the traffic.
