Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu will soon unveil a new Meizu Pro 7 smartphone which has been leaked through a device source code. Reports from the internet reveal the new device will feature a Helios-based processor alongside a dual camera on the back. Sources also claimed that the new smartphone will feature two Sony camera modules alongside a Samsung lens in the front.

The Meizu Pro 7, their upcoming smartphone which remains unlisted has been found out thanks to a device source code from people at GizChina.it. Details from GizmoChina indicate that the upcoming smartphone was actually rumored to be introduced at the Mobile World  Congress that concluded in February this year. That said, the Pro 7 smartphone features a Helios-based X30 chipset from MediaTek.

Other details from GSMArena reveal a dual camera configuration for the back, both with an image resolution of 12MP that feature Sony's IMX386 modules as well as Samsung's S5K368, a 16MP camera for the front portion of the Meizu Pro 7 smartphone which will likely attract a lot of selfie obsessed audience.  While the source code doesn't reveal much of the new smartphone, the device is expected to run either the previous generation Marshmallow OS or the Android Nougat 7.0 OS at the time of launch.

A 5.2-inch display on the Meizu Pro 7 is expected and the phone will be skinned with proprietary Flyme OS on top of the Android operating system. There are ongoing rumors about the device featuring a dual-display in the front, although the same hasn't been verified yet. Reports also mention that the smartphone will be equipped with a 6GB RAM while the deca-core X30 chipset will be clocked somewhere between 1.9 to 2.5 GHz. It will be an interesting year for the smartphone industry since a lot of brands will be releasing their new devices into the markets shortly.
