Chickenpox and measles are two kinds of diseases that most people got when they were young. Usually, these diseases left unwanted scars on the body. Chickenpox is a very contagious virus, and most people will experience it at least once in their life. Catching this disease may have lasting effects, including scars.

Chickenpox scars are more likely to form if a person scratches or picks at the rash. It may be bothersome for some people, especially if they are on the most visible parts of the body, like the face.

Measles, on the other hand, is a contagious viral disease that is characterized by the appearance of rashes on the body. It usually affects children. The rash blisters heal, dry, and they vanish eventually, leaving tiny red or white marks or even scars all over the body. Measle scars can make you feel irritated, less confident, and you may experience dampened self-esteem with the scars present all over your body, including your face.

Removing chickenpox scars and measles scars take effort and patience, but there are many treatments and procedures that can help reduce the visibility of the scars or even remove them completely.
