Health Experts meet in Rome for Universal healthcare discussions at ECAM Council

October 21 Rome - Italy will host the ministers of Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq, Kenya, Kurdistan, Mozambique the 22nd and 23rdd to discuss a shared agenda to look beyond the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to "Agenzia Nova", a well-known hotel in the center of Rome will host a round table organized by the San Donato Hospital Group, the largest private healthcare services group. Mr Kamel Ghribi leads the discussion as Chairman of GK Investment Holding Group and GSDMiddle East and Africa, in collaboration with the Ambrosetti Think Tank.

An exceptional welcome is expected for the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Libya, Mohamed Taher Siala, the Minister of Health of Egypt, Hala Zayed; the Minister of Health of Tunisia, Faouzi Mehdi, Iraqi Health Minister, Hasan Mohammed Abbas al Tameemi; the Minister of Health of the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan, , Kenyan Health Minister, Mutahi Kagwe, and the interim Minister of Health of Mozambique, Lidia Cardoso.

The entire delegation will be received on the 23rd at the Ministry of Health, where they will be welcomed by the Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, and by deputy Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza. The latter will hold bilateral meetings with Arab and African counterparts for most of the day. It is expected that an announcement will be made regarding a memorandum of understanding to be signed between the San Donato Group and the Arab Republic of Iraq.
