Members of the crowd wave to US billionaire businessman and pilot Jared Isaacman during the Inspiration4 crew send-off at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on September 15, 2021. - SpaceX is preparing to send the first all-civilian crew into Earth orbit on the evening of September 15, capping a summer of private spaceflight with one of the most ambitious tourism missions to date.

The Polaris Dawn is a crewed mission piloted by tech giant Jared Issacman, famously known for founding Inspiration4.

The support of the Polaris Dawn will be demonstrated by flying with the flag of Ukraine from its launch to orbit. The plan was announced by the crew members Monday, March 7.

Polaris Dawn's orbital mission serves as the first-ever mission conducted by the Polaris Program. In its previous mission, the company commenced flight through the help of vehicles provided by SpaceX.

The program officials of the orbital flight explained in a Twitter statement they stand with Ukraine and the citizens of the country and other individuals across the globe who collectively fights for their freedom.

The Polaris Dawn will fly the flag of Ukraine to orbital space, as the place is beyond the reach of the tyranny that Russia invokes, the officials added.

Putin decided to begin Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24. Following the president's reckless decision, the United States and its allies expressed their insights and responded to sanctions that would block the aggressor's socio-economic aspect.

The impending war that divided many governments also affected the peaceful state of astronomers and other experts related to space studied. Many of the enterprises who collaborated had their connections fall out due to the mayhem in Europe.

NASA maintains its neutral stance and proceeds to conduct observations and studies on the International Space Station. Currently, the space lab has members from participating countries on board, including the Russian agency Roscosmos.

Polaris Dawn Launch with SpaceX Rocket Led by Isaacman

Isaacman, the founder and CEO of payment process enterprise Shift4, will be the commanding officer of the Polaris Dawn launch from base to orbit.

Space reported that alongside Isaacman, three other experts of spaceflight and aviation would be joining the crew, including Sarah Gillis, Anna Menon, and Scott Poteet.

SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule will carry the Polaris Dawn during its lift-off. The interest of this mission includes a series of space errands such as conducting a test for Starlink's laser-based communications and other experiments in part of scientific research.

If successful, the orbital mission of Polaris Dawn will be the first-ever commercial spacewalk in history.

Alongside the Polaris Program, Isaacman is set to fly other space missions in the coming months and the following years. Most of the billionaire's projects will be performed to gather funds for deserving charitable causes.

Among Isaacman's latest missions was the launch of Inspiration4 September last year. The project included four civilians that flew for several days while raising million-dollar funds for Memphis' St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The same institute will also be included along with the chosen beneficiaries of the upcoming Polaris Dawn.
