Unsettling footage of destructive nuclear blasts was shown during the episode on Russian propaganda television.

Chronicle Live said the Kremlin-based oil company Gazprom's media arm broadcast a piece of content called "In anticipation of nuclear conflict - how weapons of mass destruction have become part of the geopolitical game" on one of its channels.

A large mushroom cloud and what an atomic detonation might look like were among the nuclear explosions and the aftermath shown in the section.

Chilling Footage Show Russia's Nuclear Conflict Preparations

Then, according to The Mirror, a presenter and a row of used gas masks and safety gear arrived. At the same time, top Putin aide Ramzan Kadyrov urged him to consider "using low-yield nuclear weapons" in Ukraine's border regions.

Russian military "ought to take more extreme actions," according to Kadyrov, against Ukraine. According to the TV segment, the West should concede to Putin's demands for Ukraine to lessen the risk of nuclear war.

Vasily Kashin, a military and political expert at the Moscow Higher School of Economics, said (per The Mirror): "We're in a situation in which superiority in resources and conventional weaponry is on the side of the West."

Kashin added: "Russia's power is based on its nuclear arsenal."

No Indications for Nuclear Release

According to a military intelligence expert, another disturbing video of a convoy carrying supplies for Russia's nuclear capabilities may be a "signal to the West."

According to defense expert Konrad Muzyka, who spoke to The Sun, the train is connected to a section that manages a dozen major nuclear weapon storage locations.

Muzyka added this is transporting equipment for the Russian Ministry of Defense's 12th Main Directorate.

The Directorate is in charge of nuclear bombs, including their storage, upkeep, transportation, and distribution to units.

The analyst emphasized that there is no indication of "preparations for a nuclear release" in the footage.

The fact that it surfaced after Ukraine warned about the "extremely high" potential of Russia deploying a tactical nuclear bomb, he claimed, was necessary.

About Tactical Nuclear Weapons

BBC News said small nuclear warheads and delivery systems, known as tactical nuclear weapons, are designed for limited strikes or employment on the battlefield.

They are intended to eliminate enemy targets in a particular location without generating significant radioactive fallout.

The tiniest tactical nuclear bombs can have a maximum yield of one kiloton, producing the equivalent of a thousand tonnes of explosive TNT.

The biggest ones have a maximum mass of 100 kilotons.

Up to 1,000 kilotons in size, strategic nuclear bombs are fired from farther out.

Nuclear tactical weapons have never been employed in hostilities.

Modern conventional weapons have been as efficient in destroying targets on the battlefield as nuclear powers like the US and Russia.

Furthermore, no nuclear-armed nation has, up to now, been ready to start an all-out nuclear conflict by using tactical nuclear weapons.

But compared to bigger strategic missiles, Russia could be more inclined to utilize smaller tactical weapons.
