Huawei is one of the leading Chinese brands when it comes to mobile devices. And just a few days ago, its spinoff company called 'Honor' declared that it would finally release its units in the United States.

In a recent statement made by Honor's President Mr. George Zhao during an event in Shenzhen, China, he said that the Honor mobile brand has been planning to expand its market for a very long time. And one of the ways to do just that is to release the units in the United States. Mr. Zhao also teased that an announcement of the release date might be revealed as early as January 2016 when the annual CES event starts.

Mr. Zhao also said that one of the reasons for this is that the United States has been a successful marketplace for their sister company, Huawei. His statement was then backed up the U.S. counterpart of the famous Chinese Brand, saying that 2015 is a critical year for the company as it has finally started marking its place in the U.S. mobile market.

Adding fuel to the rumor is an entry posted by 9to5Google, where as it stated that the Chinese company will make its debut by introducing its newest unit, the Honor 5X, on the CES event that will take place in January.

Honor's first product boasts with a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a Snapdragon 620 and a fingerprint detector. The very last feature mentioned is actually not available on most U.S. phone. What makes the product stand out even more is that the units are priced at a much lower rate.

Even though there have been a lot of Chinese labels unsuccessfully breaking the U.S. market, Honor is still very hopeful that it would be able to make a mark. Huawei, on the other hand, has already broken the market, but unfortunately it is still not on the same level as Samsung and iPhone.
