Astronomers Declassified The Mysteries Of PDS 11 Binary Star System

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research scientists found a new binary star system named PDS 11. advance spectrometer of Himalayan Chandra Telescope (HCT) detected that it is containing two stars: PDS 11A and PDS 11B and these two stars are almost 371 to 427 light years away from each other.

Organic Molecules Discovered in Young Star System

Astronomers have detected the presence of two molecules in the disc surrounding the star designated MWC 480, in a region that is similar to the Kuiper Belt around our Sun. The discovery of these building blocks of life in a young star shows that the conditions that create organic molecules can happen across the cosmos.
