Asus made a big innovation on one of its product lines today. The Taiwanese tech company recently launched the ZenBook Pro UX550 that was boast with a remarkable 4K touchscreen that many believed will be one of its biggest assets. Aside from it, other key features were revealed making it one of the much-anticipated devices for this year.

Asus is a multinational computer hardware and electronics company based in Taiwan. It is also called as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) company that is famous for products like motherboards, graphic cards, desktops, laptops, mobile phones, netbooks, tablet PCs, monitors, projectors, servers, workstations and other electronic related equipment.

As the industry of advanced technology is growing, Asus has also innovated its products by designing and developing top of the line devices. Some of its well-known gadgets include the ZenFone and Padfone smartphone series, the ZenPad tablet series, and the ZenBook laptop. Now, the Taiwanese tech firm appears to be enhancing the ZenBook product line this year.

According to Engadget, it almost two years since Asus introduced the first ZenBook Pro and it's been a year since it got upgraded. Now, the Taiwanese IT company have announced during the "Edge of Beyond" event that they will be releasing the latest ZenBook Pro UX550 that will sport a 15.6-inch 4K touchscreen display behind a spin-metal lid.

One key feature that the ZenBook Pro UX550 have is its quad-core Kaby Lake processors that can easily adapt to its 4K display resolution both for the Core i7-7700HQ and Core i5-7300HQ chipset. Asus also made the UX550 one of the most portable laptop of its kind having an 18.9mm thickness and weighs only 1.8 kgs whipping Dell's Inspiron 15 700 and Acer's Nitro 5.

Pocket-lint further added that the ZenBook Pro UX550 will also boast with a Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. Aside from that, Asus also powered the UX550 with a 1TB of PCIe x4 SSD storage plus a 16GB DDR4 of RAM. It will sports a two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB 3.1 ports for HDMI port and a micro SD card reader.

Asus also revealed that the ZenBook Pro UX550 will have a 14-hour battery life and features a fast charging support that can charge to 60 percent capacity in 49 minutes. Truly, it is the slimmest and lightest model from the ZenBook product line. The device is set to be released this July that will cost £1,000 or around $1,299.
